How CareLens handles information

Carelens.org LLC operates CareLens and the GeorgiaElder, FloridaElder, ArizonaElder and TexasElder directories. This notice describes the information used for those services.

Information we use

• Public facility records: provider identities, business contact details, licensing, inspection and enforcement information from identified public sources and reviewed official facility websites.
• Information you submit: your email, claim request, facility identity, approved profile content, supporting verification material and correspondence with us.
• Subscriptions: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, billing contact email, invoice/payment status, service periods and reminder delivery records. Stripe collects payment credentials on its hosted pages; do not send those credentials to CareLens.
• Service records: consent timestamps, opt-out records, security and access logs, and technical information generated by our hosting and email services.

Why we use it

We use information to publish accurate directories, respond to requests, verify facility representatives and eligibility, fulfill approved profiles, process subscriptions, deliver requested updates and billing notices, honor opt-outs, prevent abuse and maintain service security.

Consumer update signup forms request permission to send coverage updates. They do not authorize us to send your contact details to facilities. Where inquiry forwarding is enabled and each destination is independently confirmed, we ask for explicit consent naming exactly the facilities you selected before collecting your name, email, optional phone and short request. Each facility receives a separate message. Payment never diverts or delays delivery; we do not substitute recipients. If a destination is unconfirmed, use the facility public contact route. Consent to updates is separate from inquiry consent. Please do not submit medical records, resident details or other sensitive health information in a claim, newsletter signup or ordinary support email.

Service providers and sharing

We use Cloudflare for hosting and data storage, Google Workspace for business correspondence, Stripe for payment processing and subscription management, and Resend for transactional email. These providers receive information needed to operate the relevant service. Their own privacy notices also apply to their services. We may disclose information when required by law or needed to investigate abuse or protect the service.

We do not sell consumer contact information or provide it to facilities for their marketing. Approved facility profile content and public business records appear publicly. A paid profile does not give its operator access to our consumer email list.

Email choices

To stop promotional emails, reply “unsubscribe” to the message or email [email protected]. We keep a minimal suppression record to honor that request. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary billing or service communications for an active subscription.

Storage, access and corrections

We retain information as needed to operate the service, support verification and accounting, resolve disputes and honor communication preferences. Access is limited to the people and service providers needed for those purposes. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of information you supplied. We may need to verify your identity and retain records needed for legal, accounting or security reasons. Public-record corrections are assessed against source evidence; payment does not remove accurate public records.

Inquiry retention and delivery

We save consent text, version and time, exact recipients and delivery states before forwarding. Raw contact details and message content, including retry payloads, are deleted after 30 days unless a documented support hold with a finite expiry is needed for a specific unresolved issue. Minimal routing and consent audit, without message content, is retained for 90 days. You may withdraw queued forwarding; messages already sent cannot be recalled. Temporary failures retry after 5 minutes, 30 minutes and 2 hours; permanent or exhausted failures stop and enter our support queue. We notify you within one business day. Sent means accepted by the email service; provider-reported delivery is not proof the facility read or answered. Facility acknowledgment is recorded separately.

External services

Facility links lead to independent websites with their own privacy practices. Our sites and service providers may process technical request information to deliver and protect pages, fonts, email and payment services. This notice does not represent that third-party services are free of cookies or other technologies.
